Employees benefit from great career progression, sector-leading professional training and great job stability – people stay an average of 6 years The Role We are recruiting Support Workers for a large supported living service in Tunbridge Wells which supports adults with physical disabilities, mental health needs and behavioural support needs. There is 2 parts to the service with one section being more challenging, which does carry an enhancement of £1200 complexity payment taking the salary to £17,850, but most people will start in the lower level of the service to start with, unless very experienced, hold correct training and the managers feels they will be suitable for this service - this will be at their discretion. Then role is 39 hours per week covering early mornings, late and night shifts. Skills and Experience You don’t need experience as full training is provided, and you will work with a local team who will guide you from day one. If you do have extensive experience then you may be suitable to work on the more challenging side of the service in which case there is an additional £1200 complexity payment (paid at £100 per month). Due to the location of this role it is desirable for the successful applicants to hold a full valid UK driving licence and to have access to their own vehicle. These qualities are essential to the role, as together they mean you will be able to give outstanding support, empowering people to make choices and: •participate in social, leisure and work activities •carry out everyday tasks, such as personal care, cleaning or going shopping •learn new skills and reach their full potential Salary and Benefits The salary is £16,650 per annum (pro rata) with complexity enhancements of £1,200 per annum (if applicable) benefits.
