Ocean Recruitment Solutions are pleased to be recruiting for a local IT support company who are looking to expand their team due to a growth in business and the up take of large clients. Our client prides themselves on their high level of customer services and in-depth knowledge of their Engineers. The ideal IT Support Engineer will be supporting clients using Microsoft based networks ranging from peer to peer to Windows AD networks with Virtual servers of 50 workstations. You should be skilled at analysing problems by providing a full diagnostic and solution package. The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for building systems for a wide range of clients, the systems typically involve both on-premises Windows Server, Microsoft Azure and O ffi ce 365 cloud services. IT Support Engineer Responsibilities; Build and install PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) related to desktop infrastructure, in accordance with department standards Maintain installed PCs, networks, telephone systems and peripherals with routine maintenance Answering calls & emails on help desk, server administration and remote support using RMM and help desk tools Identify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems whilst identifying potential changes and improvements Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with department guidelines Explain and document technical issues in a clear way to clients IT Support Engineer Criteria; 2 years experience of working in a customer facing technical role Working knowledge of O365 and Azure AD implementation Experience in VMware ESXi and VCSA Proficient in Windows Server 2012/16/2019 products, including MS Exchange 2010 onwards In depth knowledge of Microsoft applications, Outlook in particular. Knowledge of security for networking environments Full driving license with own car (mileage expenses paid) IT Support Engineer Qualities ( desirable but not essential); Experience with ADSL/vDSL/Cable routers, including correct configuration of wireless networks Knowledge of VoIP Telephone systems For More information regarding the IT Support Engineer position, please contact caley on 01752 689469 or apply online.
