Overview

Cordant People Newport are currently recruiting a 360 Excavator Operator on behalf of a Construction company that cover South Wales. The position is full-time Monday to Friday - 45 hours a week - 7.30am - 5pm. The client is looking for the following: You will have a current valid CPCS Ticket - Excavator 360 Above and Below 10 tonne Tracked and Wheeled, Lifting Ops. A minimum of 3 years' experience in managing the machine is preferred due to the nature of the role. Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be advantageous. Lifting ops will also be advantageous. Experience on Civils projects. Strong work ethic in a team. The duties for this role are as follows but not limited to: Safe operation of an excavator. Handling and/or moving material. Knowledge of the excavator requirements including lifting operations. Effectively communicate to all site personnel. Maintain daily logs. Daily maintenance of equipment. Identify, report and correct hazards. Perform tasks maintaining all health, safety and environmental rules and ensure all work is done in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment. You will be required to help out with the general site works when not operating a machine. This company offers many benefits such as: Full uniform & Replenish(including PPE).
