ROLE As Senior Settlement Analyst, you will be responsible for our supplier settlement performance, liaising directly with our DC and with Elexon to ensure all targets are met. Following the whole end-to-end operations, from customer registration, through metering, billing, and settlement, giving support to our Billing, Dispute, Metering, and Customer Care team and ensuring all accounts are billing on the right number of settled units. Speaking with our partners and agents via phone and email and managing different back-office processes. RESPONSIBILITIES Monitoring our settlement performance liaising directly with Elexon and our DC Maintaining accurate account information within the CRM system and on industry level about electricity and gas consumptions Managing periodic reports from Elexon and DC Resolving account issues to improve our settlements position on all settlements runs Overseeing customers data and ensuring that their billing and settlements are inline Liaising with internal teams and external parties on the resolution of industry operations enquiries Identification and management of trading disputes Managing relevant mailboxes Managing data entry and administration tasks Ensuring resolution of any day to day operational issues Creating and reviewing internal processes ensuring to be compliant with industry requirements Identify, design and implement operational and management reporting requirements Ensuring that all work areas are compliant with legal and regulatory constraints Reporting and monitoring workload as requested Accomplishing other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Manager or Head of Department. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Experience in the electricity settlement process for an energy supplier (required) Knowledge of principal industry data flows (required) Knowledge of gas process (desirable) Experience in managing Elexon audit Knowledge of HH process (desirable) Be focused on Customer Service Ability to work well under pressure Good attention to detail (analytical, methodological and tenacious) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to prioritize and manage your own workload minimal supervision Willing to learn new subjects and acquire new skills Comfortable working in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially excel BENEFITS Competitive Salary Complementary hot drinks (coffee machines everywhere) Game Area (table tennis and foosball table) Discount towards Gym subscription Preferential electricity and gas tariffs for those employees who will switch to GNE as an energy supplier GNE is a diverse and inclusive employer.
