Overview

Based in the heart of Central London, our client has a unique approach to the build-to-rent sector, one of the fasting growing areas of the real estate sector at the moment. They are looking for somebody to join them, working alongside the Finance Director to ensure that the company continues to expand the presence in the market. One of the great things about our client is that they invested in developing their employees, which is supported by the fact they are offering study to support to the successful candidate for this position. Our client, being involved in property development and management, is looking for somebody ideally with a broad skill set. Duties and responsibilities will include: Prepare the monthly management accounts for the managed properties providing performance report against budgets Liaising with the outsourced property management company regarding all financial matters Support the finance team in the analysis of the variances from the management accounts Produce the annual property management budget for each property with the assistance of the managing agent Ensure transactions associated with each development reflect the capital expenditure Working with the Development Director, update the development forecast and identifying any potential risks Our client has a relatively small accounts team within the business, providing the successful candidate with broad exposure to different aspects of the business and working alongside an experienced and qualified Finance Director. For this role they are looking for somebody with the following experience: Prior experience in producing management accounts is a crucial part of this role The successful candidate will ideally be a part-qualified accountant looking to complete their studies Experience within property is essential for this position, ideally within development or management Strong communication is crucial for this role and ideally previous exposure to working within small finance teams Ideally the successful candidate will have at least three years experience as a management accountant If this is an opportunity that you feel would be suited to your skill set then please feel free to apply now.
