Overview
A hotel tech start up is seeking a Data Scientist to join at a pivotal stage in their journey as the sole Data Scientist to introduce new ideas and help shape the business. You will be responsible for building algorithms and forecasting models working closely with the engineering and product teams to develop the roadmap, manage the data strategy and identify new opportunities. You will take ownership of the entire process, pick up the current data science stack and models in production, challenge the current process and make improvements. This is initially a stand alone Data Scientist position but with the opportunity to build a team as the business expands. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years data science experience and hands on development experience with Python. Experience working within a start-up environment would be desirable, you will need ambition and energy to drive the product forwards and keep up with the fast-paced growth.
