Overview

Design business based in the City is looking for an Office Assistant to join them next week only to cover holiday. Not a corporate environment - more design feel business. This role will sit front of house, along with 3 other Team Assistants, and reports directly into the HR Manager. Answering the phone and door phone and courteously welcome all visitors to the office. Accept and sign for deliveries informing the relevant colleague items have arrived. Oversee the meeting room bookings working with company admins to agree suitable outcome if rooms are limited - 3 meeting rooms in total. Ensure front of house, booths and meeting rooms are always presentable and well stocked for refreshments. Circulate incoming post and take all external post to main building reception by 5:00. Set up meetings and arrange refreshments. Liaise with HR Manager to coordinate event with HR policy and work with Digital Manager to update social media Support HR manager in administrative duties for Group and head office new starters. Administration requests from Senior Management are carried out to exceptional level and in a timely manner. Booking car hire/ taxis. Book Training for company staff adhering to the Training Guide. Ad hoc tasks as requested by HRM and directors. This role would suit someone from a design/property/architectural background.
