ABSOLUTELY NO AGENCIES PLEASE Head of IT (UK & Ireland) – Advantage Smollan Full time, Permanent Salary: Competitive annual company bonus onsite parking Working: 5 days Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week Location: Winnersh Triangle, Berkshire RG41 5TS As the Head of IT (UK & Ireland) for Advantage Smollan, you will create a class leading IT service, operations and IT solutions function which will deliver an efficient, responsive and forward-thinking team. So, what are the responsibilities? Responsibilities include: Management of IT Solutions (applications, systems and software development) to ensure appropriately skilled resource is available to carry out all development, support and maintenance of required solutions. Management of all system and development activities to ensure on time, on budget, “Right first time” quality solutions for the UK & Ireland businesses Management of the IT Services utilizing an ITIL framework to ensure business users are receiving the highest level of customer service Work with Advantage Smollan European group to help harmonise and standardise IT infrastructure and systems across the region Management of field systems teams to ensure reliable and responsive setup and management of client projects including the smooth migration to new group technologies Help support and implement business intelligence and insight strategy Continue to drive the successful implementation of an off-shore development team to provide the region with a cost effective, scalable software development service As Advantage Smollan group has grown the IT complexity of the business has grown, the role will require someone who can also manage complex IT (systems & infrastructure) projects on-time, on-budget while handling the rest of the day to day activities … and what qualifications should you have?
