Overview
Seeking a proven, confident Business Analyst, you’ll join a small but dedicated and professional Change Management team in central Bristol. This is a role that is just that little bit different . Sitting in the operational directive, you’ll report directly to the Head of Investment Operations and provide total transparency across the projects to the senior executive members highlighting, risks, issues and milestones. You’ll be involved with driving out and implementing change to clients, looking at requirements and rolling them out. This is an extremely broad role in a small entrepreneurial company. So, you can wear several hats, and the successful candidate will enjoy a varied strategic and very hands on role and will probably have worked for a smaller company in their career so far. Providing support is crucial for each project and you’ll be working with specialists to provide structure and help drive it forward. Documentation maintenance, project plan alignment and co-ordination of all subject matter experts is key to the success of each project. There are expectations around a headcount usage model, which is the basis for client invoicing Aside to your demonstratable experience as a Business Analyst, a background in financial services is essential and this is non-negotiable, a project qualification, would be desirable. Highly customer focussed with proven outcomes, you’ll convey a 'can do’ attitude and work within company policies to maintain suitable controls for projects. A pragmatic approach is key, as is the ability to take own initiative establishing relationships and adapting style and approach accordingly. MUST be experienced in risk and issue escalation both in person and through formal reports to senior stakeholders. Other attributes, our client desires, includes strong excel knowledge, detail orientation and a "completer-finisher".
