Overview
Bright Selection Ltd are delighted to be representing one of the smaller care home operators in the appointment of an experienced Care Home Manager for their larger care homes in Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful care home, leading the journey to Outstanding. I am looking for an experienced and highly skilled Home Manager with an eye for detail and excellent working knowledge of CQC. Someone with a proven track record of achieving Good compliance and high standards of care. Experience of managing larger care homes (40 beds Requirements Proven track record of managing a Good rated care homes Nurse qualification is desirable but not essential NVQ L4 Management or equivalent qualification Specialist training, knowledge or interest in Dementia care Proven ability in budget preparation and control Excellent knowledge of CQC legislation Confident IT user, with good working knowledge of Word and Excel Responsibilities To ensure that the highest level of care standards are maintained at all times through quality assurance monitoring To maintain a proactive and positive approach to complaints To ensure that systems are used effectively to monitor the quality of service provision Recruit, develop and train staff within QCF framework Motivate and manage staff team to achieve agreed targets and deadlines Assist in setting the annual budget for the home, monitor and control budgets on an ongoing basis Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of strategies and plans Market and promote the business to external agencies and within the wider community Remuneration Salary offered in the region of £60,000pa Contracted for 40hrs per week 25 days leave plus bank holidays Please contact Emma Everett at Bright Selection Ltd for more information.
