HR Manager Bolton Highly competitive salary & benefits package Job brief We are looking for a HR manager to grow and develop their skills and expertise within a niche service led business. The role of a HR Manager is to oversee all aspects of human resources, practices and processes. CIPD L5 or studying towards L7 would be preferable. The role of our clients' HR manager is so important to enable business growth and success. People and Service are seen as their most important assets and you’ll be the one working closely with a team of Directors, to ensure they have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize the companies mission and objectives. Promoting core values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect of a complete HR manager function. Responsibilities Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues Manage the recruitment and selection process Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement and motivation of people Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization - ensuring compliance is being adhered to Nurture a positive working environment and implementing wellbeing strategies Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance Maintain company benefits program Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs Report to management and provide decision supported through HR metrics Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management Requirements Proven working experience as HR manager or other HR executive - the person may be looking for their first move into management People oriented and results driven Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics Knowledge of HR systems and databases Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR Best Practices Degree in Human Resources or related field This is the companies first In-House HR role, it is such an exciting time to join the business with over 50 staff.
