Overview
Extrastaff Ltd are currently recruiting up to five Drivers Mates / Van Assistants to work on a temporary basis for a client based in Trumpington, Cambridge. Duties will include; Helping the driver to load and unload the vehicle throughout the shift Lifting of goods using sack's which will always be two man lifts Using a company phone to contact customers, contact centres and the transport office Using a hand held terminal to record the status of deliveries Helping the driver with directions Managing goods and waste in the back of the vehicle Individually performing one man deliveries if required Due to the nature of the work, the role is very customer facing and heavy lifting is involved. This role has two shift patterns and these are 06:00am until 17:00pm and 10:30am until 19:30pm. The work is Monday to Saturday, in which candidates will have to work at least four, which could increase to five, days out of the six. Please apply today to start immediately.
