Overview
Class 1 drivers required for distribution center based in Gloucestershire. Our client has over 200 sites in the UK and is looking to expand their team due to a significant increase in work. This is a long term temporary ongoing postion that can offer full time OR part time hours to suit you. Immediate starts available subject to sucessfully passing a driving assessment. You will be required to complete between 1 and 5 drops anywhere UK based (day runs only, no nights out) to distribution centres and wholesalers. As an experienced LGV1 driver, you will ideally have - 12 months HGV driving experience No more than 6 points Digi card and DCPC The pay rates for the role of LGV1 driver are: Monday and Friday Days - £13.00 per hour (LTD or Includes Holiday Pay) Monday and Friday Nights - £14.00 per hour(LTD or includes Holiday pay) Saturday - £14.00 per hour(LTD or includes Holiday pay) Sunday Days - £15.00 per hour(LTD or includes Holiday pay) The ideal candidate will also have great communication skills, very safety conscious, be able to make decisions under pressure, organised, flexible and reliable with the ability to successfully monitor their own working hours and breaks while keeping all other driving aspects within the law.
