About the Company : Our client is award winning, and has been constructing specialist projects for the past two decades and have an outstanding record of delivering demanding project in sensitive environments of the Logistics & Distribution, Technology, Pharma and Food and Beverage industries. Projects undertaken consist of new build, upgrades/refurbishments, fit-out and extension projects throughout the UK and internationally, with contracts ranging from £5milliion to £50 million. Benefits and rewards are generous, and the office houses a gym for all staff members. About the Role: The company is looking to recruit an Assistant Buyer to their commercial team. The role will be based at our clients head office in South Bucks. You will be responsible for Assisting purchasing materials, site set up welfare across new build industrial based projects. Duties will include but not be limited to: Chasing quotations and providing comparisons Negotiating with suppliers & sub-contractors to achieve the best prices in compliance with deadlines. Seek alternative prices as and when required. Assist with value engineering/ provide cost breakdowns as requested by clients. Maintaining and expand the materials and supplier database. Assist with raising purchase ledger orders. Keep detailed records and maintain a well organised work schedule. Carry out any reasonable request of a similar nature as directed by the Senior Buyer. About the Benefits/Rewards: The Salary will be dependent on your level and experience. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary between £20,000 - £30,000.
