Overview

A global market leader in the logistics industry based in Rugby is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator. As a Warehouse Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring that you support the FLM / Shift Manager to achieve an efficient and effective operation meeting goals and objectives. To plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of a team; providing effective communication, leadership, motivation, training & development. Cost reductions and effecting team planning to be in place at all times. To manage the fulfilment of customer orders ensuring that all department targets and customer promise is met at all times. Key Responsibilities in this role will include; Team Management in Ecommerce Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members Facilitate effective communication and relationships both inter shift and other departmental functions Assist FLM's in managing all disciplinary and grievance issues (complaints) in line with HR policy Assist FLM's in the completion of accident investigations Ensure effective control of MHE usage to ensure minimal damage providing evidence of spot checks Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in ecommerce Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced Support FLMs in delivering improved productivity levels using coaching and mentoring skills ensuring individuals are aware of their responsibilities and fulfil them Work in collaboration with other DHL sites to maximise efficiencies and best practice Any other reasonable request within the scope of the position with full flexibility to work any shift requirements across a 24/7 operation Personal hygiene and appearance to be maintained at a professional and acceptable standard at all times Manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements Deliver team member performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as appropriate Key skills and experience in this role will include: Experience of warehousing / Logistics Good analytical and numerical skills Excellent interpersonal leadership, motivation and planning skills Excellent communicator (verbal / written) In return for your hard work, benefits you will be eligible for are: - Consistent work - Opportunity of upskilling/multiskilling across numerous sites - Company Pension - Electronic Payslips - 24/7 Support from your on-site assist team - Weekly Pay - Temp of the month vouchers - On-site car parking Shift Pattern – Sunday – Thursday 22:00 – 06:00 Pay Rate - £11.39 per hour Please call 01788 823892 for more information
