Overview
We have term to perm warehouse work available in Isle of Sheppey area. Our client is one of the biggest supermarket companies in the UK. They are looking for new employees to join their friendly warehouse team with an opportunity of a permanent role after 12 weeks of probation period as a warehouse operative. This is a warehouse role involving receiving instructions through a headset, you'll need to be on the ball and pay close attention to details that matter, such as store numbers. It also means always checking that the relevant paperwork is accurate. You will be given full training to use a Pallet truck whist carrying out the above duties at the warehouse. All Orders need to be picked ready for the Trucks to distribute out to all stores. Will be working in different warehouse rooms from chilled to room temperature. You need to be aware that some of the rooms can be very cold, so you will need to dress appropriately. The company operate as a 7 days a week warehouse, so must be able to work weekends. Usually you will be working 4 out of 7 days, rota based pattern.
