Picker/Packer East Kent £8.72 per Hour Flexible Shift Pattern THIS IS A FOOD SUPPLY CHAIN ROLE RAMPING UP DUE TO CURRENT GLOBAL EMERGENCY - THIS ROLE WILL SUIT ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN LAID OFF / IS TEMPORARILY OUT OF WORK. The Role Working in multiple environments, including chilled & freezer, this role will be responsible for assisting with the smooth running of a Distribution Centre for a large third party food retailer in East Kent Job Specification Warehouse Operatives / Picker Packers will be responsible for the accurate picking and assembly of products whilst adhering to Company procedure as well as: Wrapping goods for safe transportation Picking orders Stacking orders into cages Following strict Health and Safety guidelines Offloading Goods In products Goods-out loading Other Warehouse duties as may be assigned from time to time. Personal Profile Good working attitude Full UK Driving License is essential Previous work experience in a similar environment would be an advantage. Full flexibility and available to work rotating shift patterns Numerical and literacy skills required. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure.
