MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen their Engineeringteam with a CAD Technician for our one Alliance framework. Based from the office in Peterborough, you’ll produce Revit models mainly relating to the Civil and Structural design of water and waste water assets in a timely and accurate fashion. The one Alliance is a collaborative organisation of consultants and contractors working together to deliver more than half of Anglian Waters capital investment programme. You will report directly to the CAD Manager and the responsibilities will include: · Produce Revit models and drawings ensuring compliance with relevant local and national standards. · Work with all members of a multi-disciplinary team. · Provide input to the pre-construction Health and Safety Plan, including risk assessments, so that it can be prepared and updated at appropriate intervals · Ensure technical content of all work is carried out in accordance with the agreed timescales and budgets. · Work cross-functionally across the Alliance to ensure project requirements are met and drive efficient delivery. · Participate in project reviews relating to design, progress and construction to receive questions and challenges in a constructive manner. · Proactively research, present and implement innovative new processes and ways of working to optimise output Qualifications Essential · Experience in water and/or waste water design. · Autodesk Revit software experience · Fluent in Microsoft Office 360 · Experience in reinforcement detailing and specification · Site Surveying experience using laser scanning and incorporating drone surveys is desirable MWH Treatment is an integrated design and build solution provider operating in the water sector.
