Overview
If you have a Mechanical Engineering background and use 2D and 3D CAD Design tools, this could be an excellent way of using these, but also developing your skills with a growing, progressive Engineering company. My client designs packaging, processing and very clever machinery for several worldwide markets. New machines, bigger projects- it all means more work for the CAD Design Draughtsman/ Drawing CAD Technicians - and that's where you come in. I'm looking for a Technician who can join the team in its variety of work- from doing 2D Autocad drawings and layouts, turning Engineers' sketches into proper drawings, through to 3D CAD (Solidworks or Inventor) fabrication and subassembly drawings, through to draughting and design of steelwork, supports, gantries, and fabrications, for example. Playing a part in delivering the project in this friendly, informal team, with a progressing salary, regular reviews, paid overtime, the chance to add new skills in engineering, such as 3D Scanning skills to your CAD Skills are just some of the appeals of this job.
