DevOps Our exclusive Digital agency client, a global, award winning leader in their niche field of Tech, are in for another exciting period of growth and are looking for a motivated individual to join their DevOps team. You will have exceptional drive and a passion to develop their knowledge by using the latest technologies. You are: Someone with strong analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills. Someone with strong communications skills both written and verbal. A highly motivated, proactive individual with a passion for learning new technologies. Able to work independently, stay focused under pressure and manage incidents professionally. You might have: Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role (Minimum of 1-2 Years) Experience in Windows and Linux system administration and maintenance. Experience using Kubernetes (Preferred not essential) Experience with cloud platforms including scripted deployment. Experience of containerisation, ideally using Docker. Experience with version control such as Git. Experience of deploying to a public cloud, ideally using AWS. Strong Linux system administration skills including shell scripting Working knowledge of databases and SQL Problem-solving attitude Team spirit BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field What the role involves: Within the DevOps team you will be working on various technical projects to support the company roadmap. System maintenance including security, firmware and software patching. System health monitoring, responding to monitoring alerts. Planning, building and releasing code to various environments. Acting as a point of escalation for the support team. Maintain servers and systems and provide technical support to the business and troubleshoot issues with customers. Identify and improve tools and processes used by the Company to increase productivity and efficiency. With the support of the business keep informed and able to use technologies, practices, and procedures adopted by the Company that falls within your field of work. Provide documentation to accompany assigned tasks as requested. Participate in team planning sessions. Ensure all documentation relating to work tasks and timekeeping/attendance is completed on time and in full. Ensure the company quality standards and core values are met Ensure that outputs are provided in the correct format to the Project Teams.
