Overview
Robert Half Finance & Accounting are partnered with a global Media agency in Central London seeking a Management Accountant to join their growing team. This role is for 6-9 months with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will be finalist level ACCA or CIMA, ideally with experience working within Media in a similar Management Accountant role, alongside strong excel skills up to Pivots and VLOOKUP are desired. Management Accountant Duties will include but not limited to: Produce monthly P & L including commentary on all material variances. Prepare and process month end journals Upload and submission of the monthly management accounts. Ability to analyse accounts and understand activity within the month. Perform reconciliations from the general ledger to the management accounts Preparation of additional information required for quarterly reporting Liaise with commercial team on any areas of the management accounts under their control Produce departmental P & L statements and present a synopsis to various key stake holders, as required Analysis of the Balance Sheet position and explanation of variances against budget and previous quarters Perform reconciliations from the general ledger to the management account balances Completion of all monthly and quarterly information requests Cash flow modelling Completion of the quarterly tax pack Production of month end files for sign off by agency CFO and CFO Shared Services The Management Accountant role will be paying between £200-225 per day through limited or Umbrella company dependant on experience.
