Overview

Procurement Analyst/Strategic Buyer for a Global Financial Services Organisation in Central London Your new company You will join a global asset management organisation based in Central London. They manage c. £280bn worth of assets and turnover more than c. $1.7bn. The company employs over 2000 people globally, in 28 offices, the company pride themselves on providing their clients with second to none service and ensure they manage risk sensibly in their portfolio. Your new role You will work in a small, forward thinking team as a Procurement Analyst/Strategic Buyer where you will be responsible for a number of key areas. Day to day you will work closely with category leads, and the Procurement Manager carrying out spend analytics, supplier analysis, supplier due diligence and assisting with the tender process and the RFx process. You will also get involved with contract negotiations, with the aim to ensure that the organisation is getting the most value out of the suppliers they are working with. You will manage the contract database, process POs, onboard suppliers and assist internal stakeholders through the end-to-end procurement process. What you'll need to succeed This role is great for someone who is proactive, is comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels with the aim of delivering holistic value to the organisation/stakeholder. Some experience within procurement is essential; given the nature of this business, experience with indirect/service-based spend categories is highly desirable.
