Overview
This is a very well-considered role working with an extremely interesting ethical services business with a fantastic reputation in the Southwest. What makes this role particularly interesting is the one-to-one support on offer to the successful candidate from the company’s Finance Director. They’re so determined to train their new Finance Manager in-house that they’ll even put together a dedicated development and mentoring program. This is an exceptional opportunity for an Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant who envisages a bright future in accountancy. In fact, the role would potentially suit an accountancy graduate with very basic experience in day-to-day finance. Applicants that can demonstrate their commitment to the sector with part or full AAT would also be particularly welcome to apply. The role will develop in-line with the Finance Manager’s experience with the ultimate aim of overseeing the full finance and payroll function whilst reporting to board level management staff (including the FD of course). Even in its infancy this will be a varied an interesting role: sales & purchase ledger, reconciliation, payroll administration and producing basic management accounts.
