Job Title: Trainee Mortgage Broker Location: Plymouth Bryn McMillan Consulting Vacancy Ref: J318869MBMC Remuneration: £18,000 - £22,000 basic, plus car/car allowance, OTE £35k year 1, £50k year 2 Overview: A well-known estate agency requires a trainee mortgage and protection broker with full training and support provided to offer whole of market mortgage and protection advice working from the very busy office in the Plymouth area dealing with mortgages up to £400k, with an average property value of £200k, where the mortgage and protection broker should bank £100k - £120k giving an earnings potential of £40k plus. Main Duties: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a trainee fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) mortgage broker join part of a group that includes the largest and most successful independent estate agency group in Europe working from a very busy office in Plymouth. Our client is offering the successful applicant to have flexibility in terms of work life balance, you can benefit from flexible working hours if the 2-3 mortgages have been written. The busy branch requires a proactive individual to work alongside the team of introducers to contact existing clients to review their existing mortgage and protection policies as well as receiving fresh leads on a day to day basis. Covering the busy branch, you will alongside a sale focused team of negotiators and provides regulated advice on both mortgages and the associated protection products. As well as receiving fresh leads from the team on a regular basis, you will also have access to the company's database of existing clients. Not only are qualified leads referred over, but you will also have at your disposal 00's of different mortgage products and competitive protection policies. This branch will offer you 8 first appointments per week and look for you to write 2 mortgages with an average case size of £1,800 Key Skills: Applications will be considered from fully CeMAP qualified individuals with previous sales experience weather it is over the telephone or face to face long with a full UK driving licence, a clean credit report and no criminal convictions.
