Your new company This organisation is one of the largest IT employers in Northern Ireland and is known for offering good training opportunities and flexibility to their staff. They are going through rapid expansion and are in need of data scientists to help in their machine learning efforts. Your new role In this new career you will be responsible for leading and development of a team of junior problem solvers. Specifically, the job will involve: Able to quickly learn new tools and techniques. Adaptable and open minded to deal with changing business needs. Open to pursuing professional qualifications, certifications and training. Inquisitive, logical, and technically minded creating innovative solutions to complex problems. An analytical thinker capable of decision making when under pressure. Curious to challenge the status quo and push the boundaries of technology. Able to work across a wide range of tasks at one time and work to deadlines. Demonstrable experience as a data scientist and/or machine learning engineer. Possess a proven record of being able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and understanding their expectations. Able to demonstrate an ability to lead a team Can communicate technical topics effectively to colleagues who are still learning What you'll need to succeed The requirements for this position are as follows: Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject Tableau, Microstrategy, Qlikview or comparable Experience with self-service data analytics platforms such as Alteryx or comparable Experience with languages such as Python, R, SQL, Google App Script/JavaScript and Visual Basic or comparable Exposure to any elements of Artificial Intelligence such as Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning Alteryx certification DevOps experience What you'll get in return In return for your hard work you will be rewarded with an opportunity to learn in a large-scale organisation with vast opportunities for progression.
