Overview

We are supporting our multinational client to appoint a Management Accountant following fantastic progress towards the 2019 strategic goals and a strong financial performance with 20% turnover growth and increased operating profit. Our client is a part of an exciting and vibrant sector which provides opportunities for continuous growth and innovation. Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant within a dynamic team you will primarily take ownership for a combination of accurate month end accounting, partnering with non-financial operational colleagues and providing continuous commercial business improvements. Our client is looking for an ambitious candidate with a strong track record of delivering accounting task with commercial pace. A candidate who has commenced AAT/CIMA/ACCA will be preferable but not compulsory. Ideally, you will: • Support the Senior Management Accountant to cover the Balance Sheet, P&L, business partnering and continuous improvement processes • Compile Month End accounting; ring-fencing and scrutinising business unit overheads whilst developing robust financial reporting • Set up precise monthly reporting for balance sheet reconciliations and key financials • Conduct business partnering with two operational stakeholders- reviewing month end data and examining financial activity • Analyse transactional general ledger data including prepayment and accruals whilst providing commentary to complement summary with control accounts • Analyse current costs vs revenue data • Support the Senior Management Accountant with preparation of annual budgets via half year forecasting In return, you will: • Have the opportunity gain experience within an established leading global and growing business • Be welcome into a co-operative finance team in a brand new purpose built office space • Receive full training and guidance to excel in this role
