Overview
Passionate Social Worker needed, temporary position in Taunton. £35 - £39 per hour inclusive of holiday pay. Your new company Hays are working closely with a Social Care provider based in the heart of Taunton who are looking to recruit for outstanding Social Workers to join their team on a temporary basis. The company are committed to providing exceptional support to help you succeed and develop as a Social Worker. Your new role As part of the Safeguarding team you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have recently worked as a qualified Adults Social Worker with experience in keeping and maintaining accurate records, making sure any assessment statuses, admissions and discharges are captured correctly. You will have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable to pick up new and existing cases. It is imperative that you have an in depth understanding and be able to manage any challenges with appropriate methods which will vary from case to case. What you'll need to succeed Previous direct experience of delivering social work to Adult Service users is essential. You must also have knowledge of key legislation, able to produce reports and maintain records. To be successful you will require a Social Work qualification (BA Social Work, CQSW, DipSW, CSS or CCETSW approved equivalent). It is also essential that you have a current professional registration with the HCPC and have a minimum of 6 months experience working with adults in a Social Work position within the last 2 years.
