Overview
A well-established multi-investment business with a large real estate arm which develops and owns residential focussed property is looking for a Investment Assocociate. This will be a pivotal role modelling and underwriting new investments and developments as well understanding and monitoring the current portfolio. Whilst well established this business is well financed and is able to move quickly on acqusitions. Role: Prepare financial models on all new potential deals originated, refine as agreed. Lender and Investment analysis Quantitative and qualitative appraisal of deals to establish whether they are worth pursuing Conduct financial analysis including cash flow modelling, carrying out asset valuation and preparing development appraisals Maintain a schedule on the status of all potential projects and circulate a weekly report to the Executive Committee. Sensitivity and scenario analysis Prepare a highly presentable prospectus of all real estate projects that can be presented to investors. Prepare and maintain client reports for existing real estate investments. Assist in the relationships with lenders and ensure lending criteria is understood and documented. Establish schedule of preferred lenders. Update financial models to document actual costs and sales versus initial underwriting projections. Work with the finance function to identify a detailed set of revenues and costs from the financial models Attend Real Estate development and Asset Management groups meetings to report progress. Working with the Head of Real Estate Development to formulate the Real Estate strategy. Assist in the refinance of existing projects Research and report on competitors operating in the Real Estate sector within the UK. Identify any regulatory and political measures that could impact the sector positively or negatively. To assist with legal processes as required Primarily responsible for originating new real estate opportunities Skills & Experience: Qualification in Real Estate or Finance Investment analysis and modelling experience within real estate Excellent spoken and written English language skills
