Financial Accounting Manager

Currently recruiting a Financial Accounting Manager for a leading international business based in Royston. This is a newly created role within the UK finance team. You will be leading a Finance function and supporting the business and senior stakeholders. You will have a strong technical background, people management experience and capability to work within a large, matrix based organisation. Role Responsibilities: Ensuring financial controls and processes are in place Promoting and communicating best practice procedures of internal control, segregation of duties and risk management Responsible for month end completions and balance sheet reconciliations Regulatory reporting deadlines and disclosures are made for VAT/TAX/Intrastat and Statutory Accounts Coordinating the annual audit and tax computations Liaising with corporate departments Assisting the finance team in improving processes, controls and analytics You will be a qualified accountant CIMA/ ACCA/ACA with experience in all areas of Financial Accounting. Strong people management skills and be comfortable dealing with senior level stakeholders across the business.
