Mainfram Developer - 12 Month Day Rate Contract
Overview
My client is looking for a senior Mainframe Developer to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will be working with Development Manager, Project Managers and Business Analysts to define and deliver technical components to meet project demands. They will also design new / changed systems from the ground up, support IT and project teams to produce Functional Requirement specifications based on business requirements and project goals. At least 5 years design and development experience in in a Mainframe environment, in both Batch and Online environments Practical experience in all phases of the development life-cycle. Experience of Cobol or Ideal Mainframe languages Technical experience: Cobol or Ideal, JCL. CICS or Datacom database desirable but not essential. Knowledge of web services is desirable Experience of service integration with mainframes is a plus
