Overview
Are you an experienced Data Scientist? Would you like to work for a leading Data Management and Analytics consultancy who are going through an exciting period of growth? My client is looking for an experienced Data Science Consultant to join their existing team. You be based out of their Edinburgh office and will work with clients across the UK. You will be involved in the entire Data Science lifecycle, from requirement analysis, data understanding and preparation through to modelling and implementing data solutions. You will be able to identify and discuss opportunities and use cases with stakeholders across the business. Skills they are looking for: Data Science, Advanced Analytics and Statistical / Financial Modelling experience Forecast Modelling for volume and price elasticity Strong SQL skills for querying and creation of views, tables, functions and stored procedures Time Series forecasting elements of linear regression, Arima, Arimax and unobserved components Python Data Visualisation experience BI tools experience such as SAS, Power BI Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical Willingness to travel for work purposes and be happy to stay away from home from time to time. Your responsibilities will include: Work in collaboration with several Data Science & Data Engineering teams Apply Data Science techniques to solve business problems · Working with technologies such as R, SQL, SAS, Qlik, MATLAB, SPSS, Python or Tableau · Work to a high standard of design and delivery within pre-determined timelines Work within Agile frameworks such as SCRUM Liaise with client stakeholders as appropriate for the role Excellent verbal and written communication skills using appropriate language and tools both internally and externally Willingness to take part in the delivery of presentations, demonstrations, workshops or training sessions For more information get in touch asap on 0141 5668922 This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89936070
