Human Factors Engineer (safety) Contract 6 Months Location: Barrow Pay Rate: £50.00 Ltd per hour Role Overview Undertake Human Factors work, to support any site-based HF safety related activities, including: Write HFIPs (work stream specific) Update the HF Issues Registers HF attendance / support to Hazard Identification (HAZID) HF support to the identification of Human Based safety claims (HBSCs) HF input to the Fault Schedule HEP calculation sheets in support of the Fault Schedule Assess Safety Actions (SAs) - Operator Claims in the safety case HF Screening for detailed assessment Detailed Human Error Assessment - DHEA Report Additional Information The Individual Knowledge of human factors in nuclear safety cases Proven ability of Hazard ID Used to working with Safety Case teams and fault schedules Proven ability of Design Basis Assessment (DBA) and Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) - desirable Proven ability in conducting human reliability analyses and Detailed Human Error Assessments (DHEA) Understanding of nuclear site licensing conditions - SAPs and TAGs ADDITIONAL WE SEEK A HUMAN FACTORS ENGINEER (SAFETY) WHO HAS WORKED IN A MILITARY/DEFENCE ENVIRONMENT/INDUSTRY WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS OR WHO IS CAPABLE OF OBTAINING SECURITY CLEARANCE (SC LEVEL MINIMUM) This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89934769
