Overview

A new opportunity has arisen in the UK HR team for a HR Business Partner supporting Barrow Mill. This role will be responsible for strategic HR partnering with the senior leadership team at Barrow as well as supporting implementation of our UK people strategy at Barrow, localizing where necessary. This is in addition to the lead HR contact on site for employee relations, talent management and case work. The HR Business Partner must be able to easily understand and champion the relevant global/regional processes and programmes designed to accelerate KC culture and performance. A solid grasp of UK employment legislation being an essential skill for this role to be able to support any relevant ER processes as necessary, as is prior union relations experience. The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR Busness Partner who is highly capable in being an equal partner to the business with strong influencing, communication, networking and analytical skills to support leaders in engaging and enabling their teams to high performance. Ability to translate HR data to enable the right course of action to be taken to address any issues. A passion and drive for enabling and fast tracking talent to set the business up for success being a key aspect of this role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: To business partner with senior leaders at the mill in respect of KC’s People Strategy. Reporting directly to the Head of HR for Product Supply you will have the opportunity to help shape the People vision and HR agenda in respect of our engagement and enablement plans across all three UK Product Supply sites. There will be a requirement to ensure UK people metrics are on track and measured, presented on a frequent basis to ensure positive impact across the UK. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Must be CIPD qualified (or equivalent) Exceptional influencing skills and interpersonal sensitivity that will foster effective cross cultural and geographical partnerships Experience of UK employment legislation, HR external best practice, Proven HR experience, preferably within an FMCG environment. Knowledge of UK employment legislation is essential Knowledge of Talent attraction and talent management best practices Sound HRIS analytical skills.
