Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a specialist care provider, who is seeking a Night Manager for a children’s service in Doncaster. They are looking for candidates with a Level 3 NVQ in Children’s Health & Social Care and management experience in a children’s residential care setting. This service is for children with learning disabilities, Autism and challenging behaviour. You will be responsible for managing and improving service delivery during a waking night shift. You will be proactive in ensuring that quality care is available to all young people within the establishment through the direct management of Night Team Leaders and through them a team of Night Support Staff. The Night Manager assumes ultimate responsibility for the safe running of the site during the night, liaising with the appropriate on call senior manager as necessary. Salary: £24,402 Shift pattern 4 on 4 off, 39 hours per week, start time 8:30pm- 7:30am Key skills and Competencies: Sound understanding of Learning Disabilities and Autism Level 3 NVQ in Children’s Health & Social Care Understanding of positive approach to challenging behaviours Track record of effective leadership in a children’s care setting Ability to write accurate reports If you are interested in this vacancy please send your CV to jade.colemandomusrecruitment.com and I will give you a call.
