£32,000 - £36,000 p/a - Band 6 Equivalent/Up to £18.46 p/h | 37.5 Hrs | RMN or RNLD Considered | MH & LD Hospital | Experience Essential | Great Benefits | Supernumerary Hours A leading national provider of health and social care services is currently recruiting for an experienced RMN or RNLD qualified Charge Nurse/Deputy Ward Manager to work in their hospital in the Basingstoke area. The facility offers specialist support to adults of all ages with challenging behaviour and complex care needs, as Charge Nurse/Deputy Ward Manager you will contribute to all aspects the care and treatment packages provided. Details of this Charge Nurse/Deputy Ward Manager position and what our client is offering: • 37.5 hours per week on a permanent contract, usually working days and which includes some supernumerary hours • A great annual salary in the region of £32,000 - £36,000, which is equivalent to NHS Band 6 rates of pay and an hourly rate of up to £18.46 • A private pension scheme with employer contributions • Cycle to work schemes • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays • Some great retail and lifestyle discounts and gym membership programmes • Enhanced maternity pay • Some industry leading learning and development programmes • Free Enhanced DBS • Support with relocation may be available for the right person As RMN/RNLD Charge Nurse/Deputy Ward Manager, you will lead shifts, coordinate rotas and manage staffing levels and provide effective clinical leadership and line management to the nursing team. You will also coordinate evidence-based care and rehabilitation to service users, working in conjunction with a diverse MDT to manage your own patient caseload. The successful candidate for this Charge Nurse/Deputy Ward Manager will meet the following criteria: • NMC registered Mental Health Nurse/RMN or Learning Disabilities Nurse/RNLD • Have 2 to 3 years post-registration experience in a MH/LD setting with supervisory/managerial experience • Demonstrate proven experience managing wards in a mental health setting, and confident building and developing strong MDTs, ideally within a secure setting • Able to effectively balance the provision of high-quality care and maintaining a cost-effective service • Committed to continuing professional development, including having completed a recognised mentorship qualification and trained to conduct clinical supervisions • Good communication, interpersonal and IT skills If you are interested, please apply through the link provided.
