A new opportunity has arisen for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a forward thinking and collaborative Technical Support team. Working as part of a busy, multinational business you will be part of a desktop, server and network support team, building and supporting enterprise grade software systems. You will have responsibility for 2nd line service requests to agreed resolution times; 'own' end user issues through to resolution and recognise when to escalate an issue within the team. This role offers plenty of opportunity for progression and this team is committed to training and developing their staff. This is a fantastic time to propel your career Responsibilities - 2nd Line Support Engineer Manage complex technical issues and service desk tickets Use your problem solving and communication to find and implement resolutions Provide general maintenance and repair of PC's, laptops, and other hardware Provide guidance for migrations and installations of various types of software Support activities in Active Directory and other software used by the employees Essential Qualifications - 2nd Line Support Engineer Previous experience working on a fast-paced service desk A good understanding of Active Directory, Office365, Outlook, Exchange, & Microsoft Operating Systems Understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills Full Driving licence Service Desk / 2nd Line Support / Technical Support / Technical Specialist / Windows 10 / Office 365 / Active Directory / Linux
