Overview
Reputable financial services organisation based close to Tetbury has a new requirement to recruit a Financial Promotions Officer. They have grown through the ethos of offering quality and building trusted and enduring relationships with their clients and have received numerous rewards for their services. The main part of this role is to help the Financial Promotions Department provide an effective approvals service for the Partnership and Corporate departments on marketing and promotional communications. This role will see you responsible for the following core elements: Ensure the Company is not exposed to any regulatory criticism or reputational risk Assist colleagues and other business areas with queries they may have relating to financial promotions and the financial promotions function. Develop relationships with key stakeholders in other business areas Deliver compliant financial promotions in line with SLAs Highlight any concerns or issues to the Head of Financial Promotions. Negotiate and persuade submitters, where necessary, to make required amendments to the item submitted to ensure compliance and brand requirements, escalating to appropriate reporting lines where necessary. Ensure that all facts are established prior to decisions being made, providing a preferential service for Corporate items affecting the whole Partnership and Principal Partners. Skills & Experience required: First-hand experience of approving financial promotions in a busy regulatory environment. Good generic technical product and business knowledge and understand the financial services sales process.
