Overview

SEN Support Tutor £23,187 - £24,599 pro rata 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year Under the overall direction of the Assistant Principal - Student Experience and with daily reporting to the ALS Team Leader, you will be a key worker for named students with an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP). This role will involve supporting students who have a wide range of learning difficulties/ disabilities, emotional behaviour issues and other more complex needs. In the first instance this role would involve supporting these students both in and out of class, facilitating the flexible support and development of learning opportunities. In addition, you will deliver workshops to support students with their identified needs, whilst also supporting students during breaks and lunchtimes in order to help develop their social skills in common areas. We are actively seeking candidates with experience of supporting learners with SEN, ideally with specialist training in this field. With the contractual hours of 37 hours per week for 40 weeks per year, the actual salary including holiday pay is £20,173 - £21,401 per annum. These are newly created positions and as such there are positions based at both Sparsholt and Andover campuses. Please set out in your application which campus you wish to work at.
