Senior Java Software Engineer Do you want to work on software projects that will make a difference in medical science? My client a leading medical research technology company based in central London is on the lookout for multiple Senior Java Software Engineer with Java development, Microservices, Agile and continuous deployment experience is required. This role sits within a strong software development team that has multiple vacancies due to growth. Their software is being used by people all over the world, whose aim is to find treatments to beat the most severe of diseases such as cancer You should have experience of most of the following: Java 7 Experience with continuous integration and versioning control tools. Demonstrable experience of test-driven development. JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber Hibernate Spring 2.5/3 (including Spring MVC) JavaScript/AJAX jQuery Maven SQL XML/XSLT Scala Desirable Skills: Agile and Microservices Docker, Kubernetes ECS etc Cloud development experience. The role is one of the most exciting roles on the market currently for a company that develops software that is used by some of the UK's largest companies and globally within the medical research and healthcare (meaning lots of new projects) You will be involved in design, the architecture of new software, as well as improvement of the existing software. It is very much an Agile team, lots of flexibility and autonomy in the role from a development point of view.
