Our supported living service in Leeds provides person-centred support to adults who are on the autistic spectrum . We are looking for calm, resourceful and energetic individuals who are well motivated, hardworking and keen to join our friendly team. You will provide person-centred care and support to tenants to take part in all aspects of every day life and to enjoy a wide range of activities. You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support. You will have the maturity to be able to work within a positive behaviour support framework, to accept responsibility and to grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner. You must be able to follow agreed guidelines and to work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos. We will value the personal skills and interests you bring to the role and to the lives of service users, such as sports, walking and outdoor pursuits, creative arts, music and cooking; to name but a few This role offers unique and challenging opportunities bringing great job satisfaction to those who are looking to make a positive difference to the lives of others. This is a role which can be enjoyed by people who are committed to making a positive difference, including experienced care workers, graduates and people looking for a stimulating career path into social care.
