Engineering Inventory Manager - Defence Sector – Strategic thinker required Interviews will be phone or Skype This is an opportunity to build a progressive career in a high tech engineering company providing services to the defence sector. We are looking for an experienced Engineering Inventory Manager with knowledge of the MOD who can manage the inventory requirements including the management of purchasing & repair capabilities, transportation activities and disposal management. This is a role for a strong leader with the intellectual capacity to deal with complex issues. Applicants should be able to demonstrate significant experience of working within the inventory management field with a proven track record of large projects. Key Responsibilities of the Engineering Inventory Manager: Overall responsibility for inventory Management for Defence sector clients Ensure KPI’s meet service requirements Manage the execution of purchasing and repair capability to satisfy first order demand requirements Manage the execution of inventory distribution Manage technical support activity including ILS, Obsolescence, configuration management and release control Key Criteria for the Engineering Inventory Manager: Engineering Degree Proven experience of inventory management for large complex projects Ability to solve problems and implement action plans Experience of working in the defence sector To apply for this interesting opportunity please send your CV to Elaine
