A Senior Open Market Property Technician 12 Month FTC, City, c£40,000, independent Global Lloyd's Broker. Your new company Your new job working as a Senior Open Market Technician will be working for an established and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers. Due to the growth within the international and NA team, a permanent position for a senior North American Open Market Technician, handling complex open market Property risks, has arisen. Your new role Your new job working as a Senior Open Market Technician working within an established team means you will be responsible for Front End Broker support duties. You will be responsible for; preparing Preparation of Market Reform Contracts and Endorsements, maintaining accurate and comprehensive files in respect of each placement, Inviting and monitoring renewal instructions as well as testing and handling the implementation of PPL for US Property. Other duties include monitoring of unallocated cash and overdue cash and dealing with the Preparation of Tax. Extensive Client Liaison as well as liaising with Brokers and Underwriters. Working closely and supporting the Open Market Team Leader and the open market Technical team with all aspects of the production of documentation. What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience working as a Technician handling Worldwide Open Market risks ideally with North American experience will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have willingness to continue to develop knowledge of products, as well as have good communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work under pressure and to deadlines when required. You will be technically astute and confident in your production of various technical documentation to include; MRC Slips and Evidence of cover. You will be a proficient user of Microsoft Office Software to include; Word and Excel and have a working knowledge of Insurance Databases.
