Senior Java Developer (Banking) - Greenfield - Flexible Working A Financial Services firm in Canary Wharf is looking to hire a Java Developer to work in a brand new team on a greenfield project. The company has just started the process of building a brand new core system that will interact with every existing application and process in the company. The platform is being built using a modern tech stack (Java 9, Spring, Microservices, Cloud, React, SQL & NoSQL) and they are looking for technically curious individuals to help them on this journey. The ideal candidate would be one of the following: Someone currently in financial services, looking to work with a more modern tech stack Someone with experience working in a different industry, with modern technologies and wants to work in Financial Services Someone who wants to work on real time, high volume, transactional systems You will have some (or all) of the following experience: Experience coding in Java using the Spring Framework Experience working with CI/CD technologies (Jenkins, Docker, etc.) Experience working on cloud based systems (either commercially or in personal time) Experience working on transactional systems Experience doing the odd bit of client side development Outside of the work, you will be joining a company that has a great reputation for innovation and an award winning work-life balance scheme.
