Join a Top 20 Accountancy Firm to develop your audit skills and progress your career in Manchester Centre. Your new firm A Top 20 National Firm of Chartered Accountants based in Manchester City Centre are currently seeking a part qualified or recently qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA) to join their to team to help deliver a pipeline of work for both new and existing clients. Your new role As an Audit & Accounts Senior you will service a varied portfolio which will include large OMBs, not for profit clients, groups and some professional services businesses. Your work will be predominantly focused towards audit (80%) however you will also be involved in the preparation of statutory accounts, some due diligence work and corporate tax computations. You lead the on site relationship with the clients, providing advice and conducting the client meetings alongside the manager. You will also have staff supervisory experience and take responsibility for planning assignments, delegating and reviewing work and supervising junior staff. What you'll need to succeed The firm is seeking an ACA or ACCA chartered accountant or part qualified accountant who has ideally trained within a split audit and accounts role and is competent in leading audit assignments. You must be able to demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills and have a passion for providing excellent client service. The firm will consider candidates who have come from smaller independent practices who are looking to develop their audit skills.
