Overview
Are you a Principal Design Engineer experienced in Temporary Works design? Have you got Auto CAD and Revit experience? Are you from a structural, civil or temporary works background? THE OPPORTUNITY: My client is looking for a Principal Engineer to join the busy Engineering Design Department. You will be required to liaise with customers and the sales team offering technical support and taking control of projects from inception to completion. Your key responsibilities will include, managing projects, producing bespoke designs for manufacture and installation and mentoring more junior engineers. SUCCESSFUL EXPANDING COMPANY : A market leading temporary works consultancy specialising in the design and manufacture of specialist excavation safety systems. They produce a mixture of modular and bespoke support and bracing systems for the construction/civil industry. They pride themselves on their turnkey solutions offering clients advice and technical support through the duration of a project. THE CANDIDATE : My client is looking for a Principal Design Engineer with experience in temporary works design. You must have industry experience with Auto CAD and Revit within the construction, architectural or civil industry. In order to be successful, you should have experience managing design projects and will be able to speak with clients and internal teams. You will need a drivers license as some site visits will be necessary. The ideal candidate will be degree qualified and chartered with experience in shoring, piling and structural design.
