Job description Support Workers for Learning Disabilities - (No Experience Required) Four Marks, Hampshire near Alton ( GU34) Up to £9 per hour per week Small residential care home Day shifts Car Driver Preferable This Beautiful, Homely and friendly residential care home based near Four Marks ( GU34), provide care and support to four individuals with learning difficulties such as Downs syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder. The people in this care home live busy lives, they attend courses run by our activity team and take part in a range of leisure activities in the community such as; swimming, trampolining, going to the cinema, visiting the library, shopping, going to the gym and attending social groups. As a Support worker you will work with people who have a range of learning disabilities, you will be expected to promote independence and to support them to lead as fulfilling lives as possible. You will incorporate social based and therapy based activates. Ideal applicants will have experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant or they will be willing to take on a Trainee. All staff will receive training tailored to the needs of those they will be supporting.
