The role Reporting to the Home Manager/Marketing Executive, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and organising activity programmes for residents, in accordance with their assessed needs and wishes as recorded in their personal care plans. The goal will be to offer a raft of activities to residents, that reflects their individual and interests, and create a stimulating activity programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the home. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting to asses and collate residents’ interests and preferences Organise and be involved with activities, which involve community visits Co-ordinate the availability of transport in preparation for visits Investigate, develop and extend the range of activities the home can offer Assist, support and develop residents who have limited mobility or physical difficulties, making the best use of aids provided. Plan and organise programmes of individual and group activities in response to the identified wants and needs Manage the homes activities budget.
