Overview
Bedford – Airworthiness Certification Engineer – Permanent/Contract This is a great opportunity to work for one of our good clients within the Aerospace industry, they are looking to bring on experienced engineers who have design certification experience within the industry to ensure products are completed to standard. More information below. This can be both for contract or for permanent employees. Main Duties (more in full spec): Produce design certification documents in accordance with EASA, CAA or DAOS. Liaise with customers and regulatory authorities when needed. Ensure deadlines of projects are met Skills Needed: HNC or higher within an Engineering specialism Experience working within an EASA Part 21J organisation Experience drawing up certification plans Experience with EASA CS23 and 25 Experience with FAA An understanding of ARP4754 and ARP4761 The salary for this position is dependent on experience and suitability for the role, however, it is an experienced position, looking for someone with ideally a number of years doing this type of work. Please note, due to the Aerospace environment, ability to achieve SC clearance is required so you need to be eligible to work in the UK and have been residing in the UK for over 5 years.
