The successful Infrastructure Automation Engineer will want to work for this client not just because it's a great opportunity but also because they will give you a wealth of benefits including: Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum 25 day's holiday Flexible working scehdules Casual dress code Perkbox membership (discounts and freebies) Some of the main duties of the Infrastructure Automation Engineer will include: Lead / support IT automation initiatives Provide 3rd line infrastructure support to the business Work to deliver Infrastructure as code Solve business problems using innovative IT solutions Support the management of the SAAS platform deployment tools to ensure they are scalable and failure proof Support of the business SAAS platform environments and technologies Assist and Support business initiatives using cloud infrastructure Support efforts to maintain production uptime SLA Mentor other IT Operations engineers In order to be the successful Infrastructure Automation Engineer and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following: Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft-based production systems Experience of operating virtual environments (ideally VMWare) Experience of supporting and configuring datacenter technologies such as: Firewalls and firewall policies Physical Server administration Networking SAN and NAS storage configuration Scripting skills with PowerShell Knowledge of containerization using Docker (Kubernetes also desirable) Cloud technology exposure, preferably AWS Experience of using technologies for infrastructure automation and application delivery Experience of working with Linux based Systems This really is a fantastic opportunity for a Infrastructure Automation Engineer to progress their career.
