Job Description A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a number of Cloud Infrastructure Engineer's in Northrop Grumman’s National Security Solutions group. As well as designing for security, Information Assurance and legal / policy compliance, we actively assess products and services, identifying vulnerabilities and weaknesses that could be exploited by cyber attackers, and we create and run exercises to pit cyber security specialists against secure systems and each other. We carry out research and innovation locally in the UK, with commercial and academic partners, and across our 85,000 worldwide workforce. How you will make a difference For us, innovation is key and we have immediate opportunities for talented Cloud Engineers to join our team to help us develop, deploy, maintain and decommission a number of large scale clustered systems. We are in a phase of rapid growth and are continually looking to augment our teams with talented individuals. You will be helping us to solve our customer’s problems within an agile team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer you will have a number of key responsibilities, these are primarily around creating, managing and maintaining scalable and resilient processing infrastructure environments in public and private clouds. Key criteria required Trained and certified in one or both of AWS and Azure infrastructure Experienced in Dev(Sec)Ops deployment techniques (CI/CD pipelines) Experienced in building and deploying integrated systems using 'infrastructure as code' techniques (e.g. Terraform) Experienced in using container technologies (e.g. Docker) to package and deploy system components Also, we’d love it if you have experience of Familiar with Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) You will enjoy a growing career as we work collaboratively to innovate the world of cyber security.
